Studies consistently show that most people want to lose weight as at least one New Year’s resolution. (Have I actually ever read a study that said that...no, I'm pretty much calling it from the gut. But does any of my vast and immense audience have the audacity to challenge me. Didn't think so.) So returning back to the point: Everybody’s looking to lose weight this time of year and I have just the perfect plan...
Go to college.
It's funny; yesterday I actually did have a doctor’s appointment. As a routine part of the appointment they checked my weight. 162 lbs, the most I've ever weighed in my life. Am I concerned? Heck no, I've barely eaten in the last two days since school has started. Between work and school and school work and friends and activities eating seems to drop on my priorities list. 145 lbs here I come!

That's funny. My friend and I were just talking about this. College was when I weighed the least. Yes, I was young then and hadn't birthed any children, but I think it was more the fact that I was so crazy busy and walking everywhere and partying and studying and dancing, that eating wasn't my focus. I also was so dirt poor, that I didn't have anything really desirable to eat. Eating was for survival and just fuel in the tank. Very different from my life now. Maybe I should go back to college. Somehow I don't think it would have the same effect for me now.
